Do you offer private parties?
Heck yes! I'm a mobile paint party machine. I bring the fun to you--whether that's your living room, backyard, church fellowship hall, or spaceship (just kidding..kinda). A small travel fee applies for parties more than 10 miles outside of Monroe, GA.
Is a deposit required?
Yep! A 15% deposit holds your date and officially puts the "art" in "pARTy". (See what I did there?)
Do I need to buy any supplies?
Nope! I bring all the things. You just bring yourself and maybe wear something you wouldn't cry over if it got a little painty. Aprons are provided, but acrylic paint won't leave your clothes. Your skin? It'll be fine.
What if I don't have a location?
No problem! You can use the fabulous Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts, where I teach and serve on the Board of Directors (I wear fancy artsy hats). Other great options: your neighborhood clubhouse or that one friend with a Pinterest-worthy house.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! For parties of 15+ painters, the host paints for free. You've earned it--you're organizing humans.
What's the cost?
The standard party is $35 per painter for an 11x14 canvas and includes all supplies. Want to go big (or tiny)? Send me an email for other canvas size options.
What's included in the price?
Just about everything but the kitchen sink: canvas, paint, brushes, water bucket, palette with lid (bougie!), tablecloths, aprons, and more. Easels: I usually leave them behind so guests can chat and see each other better, but I have up to 10 available upon request--especially handy or canvas sizes over 12x12.
Do you travel?
Yes ma'am (or sir)! I do cross borders for art. Just email me at info@paintwithjennifer.com with the location, guest count, and dream date, and I'll send you a custom quote.
Are you insured?
Absolutely. Jennifer's Art Studio, LLC carries liability insurance, just in case someone tries to paint the dog.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Paypal, Venmo, Credit, Debit, or good ol' fashioned cash.
When is payment due for a private paint pARTy?
Payment (minus deposit) is due 24 hours before your scheduled event. I promise I'll spend it on paint...and probably more paint.
How do you collect payment?
Two ways!
- The host can collect everyone's payment and send me one total; or
- I'll send a payment link for each guest to pay individually. Either way, it's due 24 hours before go-time.
Do you need a headcount?
Yes, please! I'll need your final number at least 48 hours in advance so I can prep your supplies and not forget that one friend who always shows up last-minute.
Do you provide a painting outline?
Yes! I pre-sketch a light outline on each canvas so you can focus on painting and sipping without worrying about drawing something that looks like a sad potato.
How long is a Paint pARTy?
Typically 2 hours of creative fun. I'll arrive 1 hour early to set up like a paint fairy. More time may be needed for bigger groups or if you bribe me with snacks.
Can I request a custom painting?
Of course! A $25 non-refundable fee covers your custom masterpiece. I also have a "Look Book" full of designs ready to go. You can swap colors like a boss -- no extra charge.
Do you have references?
Yes! I've got happy painters and party planners galore. Just ask, and I'll share the love.
Do you offer kids' classes?
I sure do! For ages 5 and up, from birthday parties to princess-themed masterpieces. It's like babysitting, but messier and more magical.
What's your background with kids?
I've taught workshops at Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts, including Diva Camps, Unicorn Day, Dino Day (yes, they were a awesome as they sound). I've also worked in children's ministry at 12Stone Church and taught curriculum at Gymboree Play & Music.
